Just wanted to make a quick post to air my thoughts on the mentality of the masses who don't own any crypto and like to comment on it like they're a professional. Rewind back to Christmas 2018 - December 15th, I'm hearing some smug colleagues talking at the fact Bitcoin has plummeted from ~$20,000 to a low of ~$3,100 and how it's 'Dead'. I'm the one who is known as 'That Bitcoin guy' in the office, you're probably that guy/girl too if you're reading this, at least with your friends, family, colleagues, etc. Like you I tried all the usual counter arguments, "Bitcoin is actually the best performing asset class over the last 10 years, it's entirely dependent on when you bought.", "Bitcoin has seen corrections like this 5 times before", etc. Just wanted to say, screw you smug colleagues. Thanks to Bitcoin for having this recent uptrend, sure you're not at a new ATH just yet, but you'd doubled in a few months and are looking strong to see more gains.
